Protect the Royal Ontario Museum as a Security Guard. Monitor technologies and maintain a safe setting for visitors and staff in Toronto.
The Royal Ontario Museum is looking for Security Guards to fill various roles, including full‑time and part‑time. You'll be responsible for monitoring various security systems, conducting patrols, and ensuring that visitors adhere to safety protocols. Your experience and training in security will contribute to ROM’s culture of safety and accessibility.
Key Responsibilities- Patrol museum galleries for security presence
- Monitor alarms, CCTV, and access control equipment
- Investigate and report incidents thoroughly
- Maintain crowd control during special events
- Inspect items entering the museum premises
- Law Enforcement/Police Foundations Diploma
- At least one year of security experience required
- Active Ontario Security Guard License
- First aid and CPR certification must be current
- Familiar with emergency protocols and procedures
