Be an integral part of safety as a Protective Services Officer II in Alberta. This role focuses on managing security and supporting care teams to enhance safety for clients and families.
Your primary responsibility as a Protective Services Officer II will be ensuring the safety of patients, visitors, and staff, while strictly adhering to legal regulations. You will handle incident reporting, assess risks, and maintain public relations, in addition to supporting various departments within the facility. Implementing trauma-informed practices will be part of your efforts to create a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure security for patients and staff
• Enforce relevant statutes and regulations
• Conduct investigations and asset loss prevention
• Compile court documents and secure evidence
• Assist departments with safety-related concerns
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Active eligibility as a Community Peace Officer
• Two years of relevant work experience needed
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence is required
• Current First Aid and CPR Level C certification
