Guest Safety Specialist at Ripley’s Aquarium

Become a key player in guest safety as a Security Liaison at Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada.

Your role is critical in ensuring a secure and welcoming environment for visitors and staff.

As a member of the Security Services team, you will report to the Manager and be responsible for upholding safety standards effectively. Your duties include responding to emergencies, performing property patrols, and assisting with event security. Maintaining discretion while handling incidents is essential for fostering a safe atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct crowd management and enforce safety regulations

• Communicate effectively using two-way radios for safety procedures

• Assist guests with special needs or requirements

• Monitor the premises for theft and vandalism

• Provide security support during events and functions

Requirements:

• Diploma in Law and Security or equivalent experience

• Valid CPR and First Aid certifications

• Pass Toronto Police Services security screening

• Maintain a professional, energetic attitude

• Adaptable to flexible shifts throughout the year
