This role emphasizes fire prevention and life safety, where you will be responsible for observing the premises for fire hazards and maintaining clear access to safety exits. Proactive communication and a calm approach in emergencies are vital, as you'll work independently in diverse settings such as construction sites and commercial buildings. Your duties include conducting regular patrols and responding to emergencies with urgency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed patrols of assigned areas

• Identify and report fire hazards and unsafe conditions

• Respond promptly to fire or smoke incidents

• Maintain thorough records of observations and incidents

• Provide a welcoming environment for visitors and staff

Requirements:

• Must have a valid Manitoba security license

• Authorized to work in Canada

• First aid certification is beneficial

• Basic computer and telephone skills

• Strong reliability and accountability in safety matters
