As a Mall Security Guard, there is a high focus on customer service, de-escalating situations, and constant patrol, since you will be working with people all shift, in a mall environment.

• Maintain a safe and secure environment
• Access control of entryways and exit points using available equipment
• Perform regular patrols to maintain order and establish presence
• Enforce property regulations and city by-laws on the client’s site
• Monitor closed-circuit television (CCTV)
• Protect the client’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues
• Coordinate response to incidents
• Respond to telephone calls received by the Security Department
• Complete daily reports and incident reports
• Provide excellent customer service

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience in the security industry
• Tactical experience
• Positive with technology
• Valid Manitoba Security Guard license
• Customer service oriented
• Must be able to work day shifts
• Leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a stressful environment
