As a Response Health Centre Security Guard, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people all shift. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a safe and respectful environment for staff, patients, and visitors in a high-sensitivity setting.

P1:
Monday to Friday - 0700 to 1500

P2:
Monday to Friday - 1500 to 2300

P3:
Saturday and Sunday- 0700 to 1500

P4:
Saturday and Sunday 1500 to 2300

• Operate site-provided metal detecting wand to screen patients entering the facility
• Monitor and assess potential security risks and respond in accordance with site protocols
• Maintain accurate records of screenings and report incidents or concerns
• Provide calm, respectful, and professional interactions with patients in high-stress situations
• Address incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Use of Force certification (Asset)
• Hold a Manitoba valid security license
• First aid certification required
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to remain composed and professional in high-pressure environments
