Healthcare Security Manager at WRHA

Join the WRHA as the Security Manager and contribute to a secure environment for everyone in the facility. You will manage security operations, ensuring compliance and safety standards are met.

In this role, you will support security services under the Facilities Support Services Director. Your focus will be on access control, emergency response, and maintaining a high level of security across WRHA hospitals. You will also analyze incident data and operational metrics to enhance the effectiveness of security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate security staff in daily operations

• Monitor and respond to security breaches or emergencies

• Evaluate security KPIs and incident data to improve policies

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations

• Facilitate staff training and development in security operations

Requirements:

• At least five years in a supervisory role within security

• Bachelor's degree in Administration or related field

• Must complete Healthcare Institutional Safety Officer training

• Eligible for ISO Certification

• Excellent management and organizational skills
