The Department of Natural Resources and Indigenous Futures seeks dedicated individuals for the Patrol Captain position at Conservation Officers HQ. This role requires strong leadership and problem-solving abilities. You will coordinate recruitment efforts with schools, colleges, and Indigenous groups while managing logistical tasks in enforcement services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and deliver provincial recruitment outreach programs
• Operate the outreach trailer at various events
• Support recruitment and hiring of Conservation Officers
• Maintain records and manage logistical tasks for enforcement
• Make informed decisions under stress
Requirements:
• Completion of relevant diploma or law enforcement program by September 2026
• Experience as Patrol Captain or Patrol Officer
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently with good time management
• Current valid Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check
