Elevate safety standards in healthcare as a Lead Hand in Security Services. Assist supervision efforts to ensure the security of our hospital environments in Manitoba.
This in-person position with Shared Health focuses on overseeing security staff and maintaining a safe setting for patients, visitors, and employees. The role requires prior experience as an Institutional Safety Officer and knowledge of safety regulations applicable to healthcare. If you're committed to effective security service, this role is essential to a secure healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and guide security personnel daily
• Conduct regular security functions alongside staff
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Perform helipad pre-landing inspections
• Assist emergency operations and patient off-loads
Requirements:
• Minimum 1-year experience as an Institutional Safety Officer
• Completed Grade 12 or equivalent
• Valid Manitoba Security Guard License
• Completed ISO Training Program
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
