Position: Lead Hand Role in Hospital Security
Lead security operations at Shared Health as a Lead Hand. Ensure the safety of hospital buildings and grounds in Manitoba by guiding security staff.

This in-person role requires effective supervision of security personnel under the direction of the ISO Supervisor. Candidates should have previous experience as an Institutional Safety Officer and a strong grasp of safety regulations. Your leadership is crucial to ensuring a safe healthcare environment for patients and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily security staff activities

• Execute regular safety functions and inspections

• Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and regulations

• Manage emergency response systems efficiently

• Facilitate the safe off-loading of patients

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-year as Institution Safety Officer

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent

• Valid Manitoba Security Guard License required

• ISO Training Program completion necessary

• Strong ability to communicate clearly
