As a Parking Enforcement Officer, you will oversee security operations in Winnipeg and ensure compliance with local parking laws. This casual position requires thorough knowledge of regulations, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently. You will handle various shifts, monitor parking areas, and cooperate with local authorities to enforce regulations and resolve disputes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enforce parking regulations by issuing Parking Offence Notices
• Conduct routine patrols of designated parking areas
• Provide information to the public on parking rules
• Issue citations for parking violations and maintain records
• Coordinate with towing services for illegal or hazardous vehicles
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 25 years old with a valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Two years of driving experience in Canada
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Strong communication and judgment skills
