As a Direct Service Worker, you'll oversee case management and protection services specifically within designated First Nations communities. Under the direction of the Unit Supervisor, you'll engage in both crisis resolution and active case documentation. Building solid partnerships within the community is key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide crisis intervention and family protection
• Manage and document case files meticulously
• Work with community resources to support clients
• Participate in flexible hours for community events
• Facilitate meetings and group support initiatives
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Social Work or similar qualification
• Two years of experience with Children-in-Care
• Familiarity with Indigenous cultural contexts
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Required background checks and a valid driver’s license
Leverage your case management experience to support the safety and welfare of children from First Nations communities.
