The Community Justice Court Worker position is available for a one-year term in Winnipeg. You will handle various tasks from client assessments and scheduling to collaborating with federal and provincial workers. Strong organizational skills and proficiency in MS Office are necessary to ensure efficacy in this multi-faceted role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain organized client and case files
• Answer and direct phone inquiries from clients
• Coordinate and advertise community events
• Advocate for clients in court and during assessments
• Record and analyze client data for ongoing progress
Requirements:
• Education in Social Work, Conflict Resolution, or similar
• Experience or certifications in counselling skills
• Familiarity with Aboriginal justice issues
• Excellent communication and financial management skills
• Valid Manitoba Driver’s License is required
