As part of Achev’s mission in the Greater Toronto Area, you will work across Newcomer Information Centres in Peel and Halton Regions. By utilizing your customer service experience, you'll conduct assessments, develop workshops, and engage in outreach to ensure newcomers are fully informed. This role is vital for helping clients integrate smoothly into Canadian life.
Responsibilities Assess client needs for settlement information
Compile and update community resources for newcomers
Organize workshops and orientation sessions
Liaise with local service providers for partnership development
Participate in outreach activities to promote available services
Requirements Minimum two years in community social services
Current knowledge of newcomers’ legislation and policies
Experience coordinating events and guest speaker sessions
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
