In this challenging and rewarding position within the Early Learning & Parenting department, you will provide critical support services to pregnant youth and families. Your focus will be on relationship-building, enhancing family strengths, and delivering appropriate interventions. Your professional experience will support families in achieving personal goals and accessing community resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Proactively engage with families and children
• Create supportive environments for healthy development
• Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
• Guide families in utilizing community resources effectively
• Foster advocacy for marginalized community members
Requirements:
• ECE II/III certification or similar qualifications required
• At least 2 years of relevant experience with diverse populations
• Possession of a driver's license and a reliable vehicle
• Knowledge of Indigenous cultural practices is essential
• Demonstrated skills in critical thinking and crisis management
