In this role, you will report to the Supervisor of CFS Operations Support and engage with community stakeholders. Utilizing your child protection expertise, you'll oversee compliance with child welfare standards and manage service evaluations. Building relationships with Indigenous Services providers is central to this role, focusing on effective engagement and planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee compliance with child welfare standards
• Engage with community care providers effectively
• Conduct evaluations to develop service recommendations
• Prepare communications for government officials
• Maintain relationships with advocacy groups
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
• Experience in child and family service systems
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of cultural issues affecting First Nations
• Clean criminal record for working with vulnerable populations
