The Link Youth and Family Supports seeks a Youth Care Practitioner focused on vulnerable youth at the Youth Resource Centre. This full-time overnight position involves crisis intervention, youth intake, and case planning while emphasizing a person-centered and trauma-informed approach. Collaborating across systems is essential to achieving positive outcomes for the youth in your care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide holistic support and crisis intervention
• Perform shelter intakes, assessments, and registrations
• Supervise and ensure basic needs for youth
• Maintain a clean and safe facility environment
• Collaborate with external service providers for optimal youth care
Requirements:
• Relevant education or equivalent lived experience
• Experience working with youth in crises
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Emergency First Aid and CPR Level C certification
• Clean Criminal Record and Child Abuse checks
