Position: Social Worker – Holistic Refugee Support
Step into a pivotal role as a Social Worker with the Canadian Centre for Refugee and Immigrant Health Care. This full-time position delivers critical case management and navigation support tailored to refugee needs.

In this role, you will provide holistic assessments and care coordination, ensuring that clients receive necessary resources and support throughout their resettlement journey. You will actively advocate for those experiencing trauma and social barriers, conducting assessments and developing targeted service plans that foster client autonomy and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed psychosocial and social assessments

• Create trauma-informed case management strategies

• Aid clients in health, housing, and education goals

• Navigate systems and advocate for client needs

• Engage in community outreach and support activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) or equivalent

• Minimum of 3 years in community health or social service

• Direct experience with refugee and newcomer populations

• Strong assessment and counseling skills

• Effective communication skills, bilingualism an asset
