In this impactful position, you will work closely with families, delivering interventions aimed at fostering parental capacity and supporting children in care. You'll supervise family interactions and connect clients to vital community resources. Ideal candidates will have experience in a supportive role, exceptional communication abilities, and a sensitivity to cultural and social diversity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver services for family functioning and safety
• Create and carry out individualized interventions
• Instruct on parenting, life skills, and budgeting
• Advocate for and link clients to community support
• Supervise visits and escort families to essential appointments
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 and one year of relevant experience
• Strong background working with families and children
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
• Enjoy working with diverse and challenged populations
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle access required
