Position: Outreach Worker for Community Wellness
Take on a meaningful role as an Outreach Worker focused on Community Wellness at Mount Carmel Clinic. This full-time position supports individuals at risk of eviction with essential housing resources.

In this position, you will assist clients in navigating housing challenges while fostering relationships with landlords. The Community Outreach Worker is expected to have a background in community service, ideally with marginalized groups, and must demonstrate a strong commitment to equity and cultural awareness. Your work will emphasize educating clients and linking them with important services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support clients with housing applications and interviews

• Educate tenants on their rights and responsibilities

• Cultivate strong relationships with community landlords

• Help clients with n and income support

• Provide ongoing support to facilitate successful tenancies

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation

• Minimum of 2 years related experience

• Proven skills in facilitation and relationship-building

• Understanding of Indigenous culture and community health

• Excellent communication and computer skills
