Position: Wellness Mentor for First Nations Families
Support First Nation parents through the Manitoba Child and Family Services system as a Family Wellness Mentor. Help families achieve reunification and access essential resources today.

As a Family Wellness Mentor, you will guide First Nation parents in navigating the complexities of the CFS system. This full-time position focuses on establishing supportive environments, enhancing visitation opportunities, and fostering stability. You’ll assist parents in setting realistic goals while collaborating with multiple service streams to meet their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend weekly case conferences to discuss client files

• Engage clients in developing actionable goals

• Maintain communication through weekly wellness checks

• Connect families to vital community resources

• Facilitate FNFAO workshops and trainings

Requirements:

• Certificate from a recognized educational institution

• Experience with CFS system is advantageous

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of First Nation cultural issues

• Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable vehicle
