Under the supervision of the Director of Children and Families, you will support First Nation parents by developing individualized goals and pathways. The position involves maintaining client communication, conducting wellness checks, and collaborating with external agencies to enhance family strength. Your experience with First Nation issues will be essential as you connect families with community resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and assign client files in weekly meetings
• Facilitate the intake process and goal setting with parents
• Ensure clients are informed about services and agreements
• Develop strong rapport and communicate regularly with clients
• Maintain accurate records and monthly reporting
Requirements:
• Post-secondary certificate or comparable experience
• Knowledge of the Child and Family Services system
• Experience facilitating workshops and supporting families
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Flexible hours and travel are required
Support First Nations parents with knowledge and empathy on their journey toward reunification.
