Become an Independent Living Transition Facilitator at Marymound, supporting youth in developing independence. Lead with skills in budgeting, cooking, and resource navigation.

In this vital role, you'll be responsible for directly mentoring youth on their path to independence, equipping them with necessary life skills. You will provide hands-on learning and facilitate access to community support systems, while fostering positive relationships to help youths enhance their self-esteem. Your ability to document progress and implement safety plans is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor in essential life skills like household management

• Teach grocery shopping and nutritional meal planning

• Provide creative learning experiences based on case plans

• Facilitate community resource access

• Maintain clear and accurate documentation

Requirements:

• Experience in providing support to vulnerable youth

• Preferred qualification in Child & Youth Care or related field

• Required NVCI and ASIST certifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transport

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
