Empower at-risk youth as an Overnight Youth Support Worker with 360 Kids in York Region.
This role offers trauma-informed counseling and life skills training during crucial night shifts.
As part of the impactful HOPE Program, you will assist marginalized youth, particularly those affected by sexual exploitation. The position requires direct counseling, crisis intervention, and collaboration with community services. Ideal candidates are driven to make a difference in the lives of unhoused youth and navigate the complexities they encounter.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-person assessments to determine youth needs
• Coordinate life skills sessions and connect youth to services
• Provide counseling and serve as a positive role model
• Address crises and implement effective solutions
• Document case plans and advocate for youth needs
Requirements:
• CYW Diploma/Degree or equivalent experience
• Experience supporting street youth; trafficking experience preferred
• TCI training or willingness to obtain
• Current First Aid/CPR certification
• Valid G driver’s license and personal vehicle
