The Link is hiring a full-time Youth Care Practitioner for overnight shifts within the Youth Resource Centre. This role incorporates holistic support, crisis intervention, and basic needs provision, using a non-judgmental and strength-based philosophy. Building trusting relationships with youth and collaborating with colleagues ensures effective service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct shelter intakes and assessments for youth

• Offer crisis intervention and support services

• Collaborate with various teams for youth care

• Maintain cleanliness and support facility tasks

• Occasionally oversee shifts in the Senior Youth Care Worker’s absence
Requirements:

• Post-secondary education or related lived experience

• Experience with vulnerable youth populations

• Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices

• First Aid and CPR Level C certifications

• Clear background checks required within three months
