Position: Supportive Housing Mentor Role
Join The Link as a Housing Mentor and empower youth in housing. This full-time role focuses on providing individual support through trauma-informed, asset-based relationships.

This Housing Mentor position is ideal for candidates passionate about supporting young adults with housing instability. You will facilitate goal setting and assist participants in accessing resources while nurturing their resilience. Your efforts will foster strong relationships built on respect and trust.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish trusting relationships with participants

• Maintain ongoing communication to provide support

• Facilitate access to housing resources and income support

• Assist with applications and daily living activities

• Document interactions and participant progress accurately

Requirements:

• Relevant social services education or equivalent experience

• Knowledge of community resources related to homelessness

• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings

• Willingness to undergo necessary training

• Satisfactory background checks and valid driver’s license
