Elevate employability skills with Sask Abilities as a full time Mentor in Saskatoon. Your expertise will enhance job readiness for individuals with disabilities through personalized mentorship plans.
As a Mentor for the Partners in Employment program, you will design individualized strategies to facilitate skill development. This temporary role until March 31, 2027, focuses on mentoring participants, tracking progress, and adapting methods to support their needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop personalized employability skill development plans
• Mentor participants at their employment sites
• Track participant progress and adjust strategies accordingly
• Provide education on effective communication techniques
• Encourage self-management and independent actions in participants
Requirements:
• Disability Support Worker/Rehabilitation Worker Certificate or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years experience in Human Services with disability focus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with community resources and supports
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required
Utilize your mentoring skills to foster independence and growth in participants at Sask Abilities.
