Your role will involve mentoring, conflict resolution, and administrative tasks while working with diverse youth groups.
We are looking for a dedicated Youth Worker to assess client needs and deliver support to youth, including children and adolescents. This role will require strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, and the ability to conduct assessments and prepare reports. You will also supervise office staff, manage knowledge, and liaise with other agencies involved with your clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare reports and case histories for evaluation
• Conduct follow-up assessments on client progress
• Resolve conflicts and manage situational challenges
• Liaise with social service agencies and healthcare providers
• Supervise and mentor volunteers and office staff
Requirements:
• High school graduation or equivalent experience
• Certifications in First Aid, CPR, and ASIST
• Valid driver's license and bondable
• Ability to work under pressure and quickly
• Experience in youth work is an asset
