Position: Housing Support Worker with AMC
Make a difference with the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs as a Housing Support Worker. This role focuses on guiding First Nation citizens to secure permanent homes by providing essential support and workshops.

In this full-time term position, you'll work under the Lead Service Coordinator. Your responsibilities will emphasize client interviews, resource assistance, and the delivery of critical life skills programs. This role is vital for fostering community and personal development among clients requiring transitional housing support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct interviews to understand client backgrounds

• Assist in developing actionable plans for housing

• Coordinate access to community resources and services

• Implement various workshops for skill development

• Assess clients' progress and needs regularly

Requirements:

• Diploma in social work or similar discipline

• Relevant experience in a social service environment

• Solid knowledge of trauma-informed care practices

• Excellent communication skills and team collaboration

• Must possess a valid Class 5 Driver's License
