Position: Family Dynamics Community Connector Role
Take on a rewarding Community Connector role at Family Dynamics, providing vital support to residents as they transition to independent lifestyles. Engage directly with individuals to foster empowerment through life skills and crisis intervention.

In collaboration with UWCRC 2.0 and other partners, you'll work closely with Indigenous and Newcomer women and their children, delivering trauma-informed support and individualized care. This position involves facilitating workshops, assisting with daily living skills, and providing emotional support in a secure housing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build trust and rapport with resident families

• Create and adjust individualized support plans

• Deliver psycho-educational workshops for residents

• Monitor resident progress and facilitate access to resources

• Document interactions and incidents accurately

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Social Work or Human Services

• 2+ years of experience in supportive services

• Familiarity with gender-based violence issues

• Experience with marginalized communities

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Foster growth and independence in individuals by utilizing your crisis management and advocacy skills to provide holistic support.
