In this position, you will oversee the Metis Spirit Program and provide mentorship and counseling to young adults in care. Your efforts will involve teamwork with agency staff and significant individuals in youth's lives. Additionally, you will handle administrative tasks and reporting, along with coordinating impactful group programs for youth engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver support and counseling to young adults
• Collaborate with agency workers and community members
• Fulfill all necessary reporting and documentation
• Organize and facilitate group programming sessions
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Social Sciences required
• Three years of experience working with youth preferred
• In-depth knowledge of Métis culture and community
• Strong crisis intervention and teamwork skills
• Must possess valid Manitoba driver's license
