Make a difference as an Overnight Youth Support Worker with 360 kids in York Region. This role focuses on providing trauma-informed counseling and life skills training to unhoused youth during night shifts.
As a crucial member of the HOPE Program, you'll support marginalized youth affected by sexual exploitation. Using a trauma-informed approach, your work will encompass direct counseling, crisis management, and liaising with community services. This is a role for individuals passionate about uplifting at‑risk youth and navigating the challenges they face.
Key Responsibilities Conduct in-person meetings to assess individual youth needs
Coordinate life skills sessions and connect youth with services
Provide counseling and act as a positive role model
Address crisis situations and implement solutions
Document case plans and advocate for youths’ needs
Requirements CYW Diploma/Degree or equivalent experience
Experience supporting street youth; trafficking experience preferred
TCI training or willingness to obtain
Current First Aid/CPR certification
Valid G driver’s license and personal vehicle for transport
Support youth in crisis and navigate their challenges as a valuable Overnight Youth Support Worker with 360 kids.
