As a Provincial Youth Advocate, you'll work directly with underserved youth, focusing on outreach and early intervention initiatives. Your vital expertise will help foster connections in areas such as Regent Park and St. James Town, aimed at enhancing life skills through cooperative programming.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish effective rapport with youth in priority communities
• Provide tailored advocacy and case management support
• Identify and address barriers faced by young individuals
• Collaborate with service providers for holistic support
• Facilitate engaging community outreach initiatives
Requirements:
• Diploma in Social Services or relevant experience
• 1-2 years of experience in youth programs
• Certification in First Aid and Mental Health First Aid
• Willingness to undergo a Vulnerable Sector Check
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Contribute to transformative youth support at MLSE Launch Pad.
