Position: Community Tenant Support Worker Role
Join Lookout Housing and Health Society as a Tenant Support Worker, focusing on supporting adults in need. Engage with residents, conduct assessments, and foster independence in a welcoming environment.

This role at Lookout Housing involves working within the Baird Blackstone Building. You will carry out tenant intakes and develop service plans tailored to each resident. Crisis intervention strategies are essential, and you will ensure that basic needs are consistently met while documenting service delivery accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct tenant intakes and support service assessments

• Develop service plans and crisis intervention strategies

• Ensure basic needs are met through ongoing support

• Maintain accurate paperwork and statistical records

• Assist volunteers and practicum students on site

Requirements:

• Diploma in Community Social Service

• Two years of recent related experience

• Class 5 BC Drivers’ License (if required)

• Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Clearance

• OFA 1 First Aid Certificate
