Position: Intake Worker for Summer Program
Make a difference this summer as an Intake Worker with The Salvation Army, focusing on client-centered support for women and children impacted by violence. You'll provide vital trauma-informed care in a collaborative setting.

In your role as a Summer Intake Worker, you will assist clients navigating challenging circumstances related to gender-based violence and human trafficking. Your responsibilities will include conducting intake assessments, developing safety plans, and ensuring equitable access to necessary resources. Your excellent communication skills will be crucial in providing the emotional support clients need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct intake assessments and document entries

• Deliver crisis intervention and safety planning services

• Provide referrals and community resources to clients

• Ensure precise case documentation and client log maintenance

• Support community outreach initiatives and programs

Requirements:

• Pursuing a degree in Social Work or a related field

• Experience with trauma survivors preferred

• Understanding of trauma-informed care strategies

• Effective communication and case management abilities

• CPR/First Aid Certification required
