Position: Service Navigator at Wiikwemkoong Child Services
Join Wiikwemkoong Child and Family Services as a Service Navigator and champion the needs of children and families in a culturally informed setting. This in-office role focuses on advocating for services and managing funding applications.

As a Jordan’s Principle Service Navigator, you will be pivotal in supporting families within the Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory. Your responsibilities will include managing claims and advocating for timely, culturally appropriate services. A Bachelor of Social Work or relevant diploma is required, combined with strong advocacy and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage individual and group claims

• Apply for Jordan's Principle funding

• Coordinate referrals with professionals

• Advocate for timely service delivery

• Keep precise records of interactions

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Social Work and 2 years of relevant experience

• Knowledge of local programs and policies

• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills

• Proficient in office systems

• Anishnaabemowin language proficiency is an asset
