Position: Support Mothers as a Social Worker
Join as a Social Worker to empower mothers and children in transitional housing. Deliver essential support using a trauma-informed approach to alleviate the housing affordability crisis.

This full-time, permanent position is centered in the Sanctuary Transitional Housing Program. You will assist women facing crises, providing case management and helping clients achieve their goals while navigating community support systems.

Your role is vital, especially while collaborating with team members and ensuring clients adhere to program guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist women and children within the transitional housing program

• Facilitate goal setting and community navigation

• Provide support during crisis situations as needed

• Ensure adherence to policies and guidelines

• Help onboard alumni with children transitioning from the program

Requirements:

• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

• Current criminal record check and vulnerable sector search required

• Valid driver's license and abstract necessary

• Alignment with UGM Core Values essential

• Female applicants only considered for this role
