Position: Outreach Worker for Eviction Prevention Services
Help fight eviction and promote successful tenancies as an Outreach Worker at Mount Carmel Clinic. This role focuses on connecting at-risk individuals with vital housing resources.

In your role, you will use your 2+ years of community service experience to support individuals and families recently facing eviction. You will provide essential education on tenant rights and responsibilities, arrange landlord meetings, and establish strong relationships within the community. Your knowledge of Indigenous cultures will inform your outreach efforts, ensuring holistic support for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate rental viewings and lease discussions

• Support tenants through education and home visits

• Maintain partnerships with local landlords

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with vulnerable populations

• Excellent facilitation and problem-solving skills

• Strong advocate for equity and cultural understanding

• Fully align with Mount Carmel Clinic's values
