Make a difference in the lives of tenants as a Housing Support Worker at Central Commons. This community-focused role emphasizes recovery programming and comprehensive support on-site.

As a part-time Housing Support Worker, you'll work closely with the Housing and Supports Manager and the Tenant Relations Coordinator team. Your responsibilities include facilitating daily living support and providing proactive outreach to enhance tenant wellbeing. Utilizing Psychosocial Rehabilitation principles, you will help tenants engage with their support networks and navigate their housing challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Model Activities of Daily Living for tenant independence

• Conduct regular outreach to assess tenant support needs

• Facilitate organization of household tasks for communal living

• Address daily housing barriers to maintain tenancy

• Collaborate with the TRC team for tenant support

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in health-care or human services preferred

• Current First Aid Certification is required

Support tenants in achieving their recovery goals while fostering a collaborative community environment.
