Position: Crisis Support Worker for Women
Make a difference as a Casual Frontline Crisis Worker focused on supporting women and children in crisis. This role requires crisis intervention skills and offers flexible shift availability.

We are seeking a Casual Frontline Crisis Worker with a diploma in Human Services or a related field. Candidates should have at least two years of experience, specifically in violence against women and children. You will empower and assist abused women in both shelter and crisis support settings while adhering to anti-oppression and trauma-informed care principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide crisis support in a shelter and via phone

• Ensure safety assessments and prioritization of needs

• Maintain effective communication both verbally and in writing

• Perform housekeeping and meal preparation duties

• Collaborate with team members while working independently

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience

• Post-secondary diploma in Human Services required

• Current First Aid/CPR certification

• Cleared Police Vulnerable Sector Check

• French language skills are an asset
