Job Summary:
The objective of the Outreach Program is to provide support to clients living with HIV, who have complex needs in relation to adherence to treatment and engagement in primary care services. The Outreach Program supports clients in Winnipeg through Nine Circles Community Health Centre and the Health Sciences Centre HIV Program site.
Job Type: 1.0 EFT, Permanent. Salary: $25.56—$29.57 per hour. Group 56 CUPE Local 204 scale. Benefit package as per HEB Manitoba subject to eligibility.
Working ConditionsThis job is located at 705 Broadway. Regular workdays are between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., Monday—Friday. Regular hours are 7.75 hours per day net of breaks. Occasional evenings, weekends, and overtime may be required. The position requires a valid Manitoba Class 5 driver’s license and reliable vehicle access. Outreach Workers should be physically capable of completing the majority of their work and willing to provide services in primary care clinics, community settings, shelters, encampments, and clients’ homes.

- Education: A Community College certificate in Social Services or a health‑related discipline combined with a minimum of three years related experience; OR a combination of health‑related education and extensive experience working with people with diverse needs and challenges in community‑based health and social service programs.
- Extensive personal and/or professional experience working with diverse populations reflective of Nine Circles clients.
- Knowledge of addictions, mental health, sexually transmitted infections including HIV and hepatitis
C. - Demonstrated ability to work in a multi‑disciplinary team setting.
- Commitment to and knowledge of community‑based health care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer proficiency.
- Experience documenting in medical charts.
- Valid Manitoba Class 5 driver’s license.
- Access to a reliable vehicle.
- Clean driver’s abstract upon hire and as required per Nine Circles policy.
- Criminal records, child abuse, and vulnerable sector checks upon hire and as required by Nine Circles policy.
- Fluency in languages other than English.
