Join Winnipeg Regional Health Authority as a Systems Navigation Support Worker. This vital role focuses on supporting individuals with mental health issues through an in-person service framework. This position at the WRHA Community Health Services targets those passionate about assisting individuals facing health inequities.
With a full time schedule, the ideal candidate will possess a robust background in crisis intervention, service planning, and teaching critical life skills. A commitment to effective networking will support the client community.
Key Responsibilities- Support individuals navigating health services and resources
- Utilize life skills training as a vital intervention
- Engage in crisis intervention strategies
- Foster effective relationships with agencies and stakeholders
- Assess needs and facilitate access to community services
- Minimum two years experience in human services
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel
- Education in human services or relevant fields
- Robust communication and networking abilities
- Experience with immigrant and Indigenous issues is beneficial
Contribute to meaningful change by providing vital support to clients in need at WRHA.
