Community Helper

Position: Full-Time Community Helper Role
Join the Community Helper team as a Full-Time member, supporting children, youth, and families in the neighbourhood. This role involves program development and collaboration with local agencies to enhance community welfare.

As a Full-Time Community Helper, you will work Monday to Friday with the possibility of Saturday shifts. Your responsibilities will involve implementing programs tailored to community needs, tracking data entry, and fostering relationships with Indigenous and Non-Indigenous organizations. Advocacy skills and strong organization are crucial for this impactful position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement community programs and services

• Collaborate with community-based agencies

• Maintain effective relationships with organizations

• Input data daily and manage documentation

• Engage respectfully with community members

Requirements:

• Experience in community development processes

• Strong written and organizational skills

• Valid Manitoba driver's license preferred

• Ability to work independently and in teams

• Current Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector search
