This role focuses on supporting young adults from Sandy Bay Ojibway First Nation. As a Post Majority Support Services Worker, you will conduct assessments, create individualized service plans, and provide ongoing mentorship in achieving personal, educational, and wellness goals. The position emphasizes collaboration with community agencies, cultural programming, and life skills development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete assessments for participant eligibility
• Develop individualized service plans and SMART goals
• Provide ongoing case management and mentorship
• Assist participants in accessing community resources
• Monitor progress and maintain documentation
Requirements:
• S.W., B.A., or Child & Family Services Diploma
• Minimum two years child welfare experience
• Valid Manitoba Driver's License and reliable vehicle
• Successful Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search
• Knowledge of First Nations traditional culture
Leverage your skills in mentorship and advocacy to support young adults in their journey to independence.
