Position: Sage House Community Outreach Worker Role
Make an impact at Sage House as a Community Outreach Worker for Mount Carmel Clinic in Winnipeg, MB. Engage women involved in the sex trade through outreach services and community education.

This full-time position involves working under the Program Manager's guidance to deliver empathetic street-level support and connect clients with essential resources. Your collaborative work will include performing household duties and advocating for the health needs of participants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct early intervention outreach for women in the sex trade

• Facilitate referrals and assist with service transitions

• Conduct educational sessions and community activities

• Participate in program staffing and relevant committees

• Handle household tasks such as food prep and cleaning

Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle

• At least 2 years’ experience working with vulnerable populations

• Strong skills in critical thinking and crisis management

• Commitment to equity and cultural awareness

• Proficient in verbal and written communication
