Youth Resource Coordinator at Ndinawe Inc.

Ndinawemaaganag Endaawaad Inc. seeks a Resource Coordinator in Winnipeg, MB, dedicated to supporting youth through the Child and Youth Care Program. This role combines therapeutic facilitation with advocacy for student needs.

In this position, you will provide both individual and group support while maintaining positive relationships with students and external agencies. Your background in Human Services, along with clinical counselling experience, will inform your approach to student engagement and development, promoting culturally relevant practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students

• Offer therapeutic support options, both individually and in groups

• Advocate on behalf of students with instructors and agencies

• Facilitate cultural participation outside of classes

• Communicate student advancement and feedback effectively

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Human Services is preferred

• Strong communication and case management skills

• Understanding of Indigenous culture essential

• CPR/First Aid certification required

• Satisfactory background checks mandated
