This position reports to the Wellness Program Supervisor and facilitates culturally relevant programming across eight Southeast communities and Winnipeg. You'll partner with community leaders to support children and families through activities that promote holistic wellness and inclusive engagement. Effective communication and organizational skills are essential as you develop and maintain community partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and coordinate wellness programs for children and youth
• Establish partnerships with community resources effectively
• Host and support activities that engage the community
• Maintain program budget and procure necessary supplies
• Collaborate with the Running White Wolves Youth Council
Requirements:
• 2-3 years experience with children and youth
• Knowledge of Southeast First Nations cultures
• Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to travel regularly to communities
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Support children and youth’s holistic health through culturally relevant programs and activities.
