Position: Family Support Worker at MCFCS Agency
Join Métis Child, Family & Community Services as a Family Support Worker in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This full-time role is pivotal in delivering community-based child protection and support services.

As part of a mandated agency, you will engage in creating and implementing goal-oriented interventions tailored for children and their families. Your responsibilities will include mentoring, coordinating household routines, and connecting families with essential community support while respecting cultural nuances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of goal-oriented interventions

• Mentor parents in effective child-rearing strategies

• Establish household routines to support families

• Link families with vital community support services

• Provide assistance with culturally relevant services

Requirements:

• Certificate or degree in Social Sciences

• At least 2 years of relevant experience

• Certification in non-violent crisis intervention and CPR

• Understanding of Métis and Inuit cultures

• Valid driver’s license and necessary clearances
