The House Lead is responsible for maintaining a safe home environment while providing ongoing direct support to participants of the Residential Program. The role ensures all program requirements are consistently met, including planning, monitoring, and communicating activities that relate to each participant’s program planning documents. Expectations include adherence to Personnel, Workplace Health and Safety Policies, Operational Practices and Life’s Journey Inc.’s
goals. The House Lead provides training, mentorship, support, and resources for Residential Support Mentors.
This position works collaboratively with Residential Care Team members—Residential Support Mentors, other House Leads, Clinical Case Managers, Residential Case Workers, Residential Assistant Coordinators, the Residential Coordinator, and Program Manager. The House Lead also ensures positive interactions with collaterals associated with supported participants.

Residential Coordinator & Clinical Case Manager
Qualifications And Experience- Experience working with individuals exhibiting suicidal ideations, dual mental health diagnoses, and self‑harm behaviors.
- Preferably three years in a related role supporting individuals with disabilities, demonstrating empathy and building practical supportive relationships.
- Previous residential experience and knowledge of Manitoba Licensing legislation, regulations, and standards, along with planning, organizational, and administrative skills.
- Satisfactory Child and Adult Abuse Registry check, satisfactory Criminal Record Check (vulnerable sector search), and satisfactory Driver’s Abstract and License.
- Certification of First Aid Level 1 – Emergency.
- Ability to attend work regularly as scheduled or requested.
- Demonstrated language, writing, and comprehension skills.
- Demonstrated cultural knowledge competence and participation in agency training for development.
- A safe and reliable vehicle with proof of appropriate insurance.
