Position: Part-Time Housing Support Worker Role
Serve the community actively as a Housing Support Worker at Central Commons. This role outlines your commitment to improving tenants' lives through effective support and engagement strategies.

As a part-time worker, you'll collaborate with the Housing and Supports Manager and be an integral part of the Tenant Relations Coordinator team. Your focus will be on delivering proactive intervention, conducting outreach, and implementing skill-building activities. By adhering to Psychosocial Rehabilitation principles, you will drive tenant engagement and support their recovery journeys within a communal framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Activities of Daily Living for tenant empowerment

• Engage in proactive tenancy check-ins for safety

• Help organize communal household tasks efficiently

• Resolve barriers to tenancy effectively

• Provide support to the TRC regarding tenant relations

Requirements:

• Preferred post-secondary education in health-care or human services

• Required current First Aid Certification

Create lasting positive impacts for tenants in their journey toward independence and recovery.
